Sembelit (Constipation)

Pada bulan puasa kemarin tiba-tiba saja perutku mulas ingin BAB. Tetapi celakanya seret alias gak keluar-keluar, tersiksa sekali rasanya. Aku baru sadar selama makan sahur dan buka puasa jarang mengkonsumsi makanan berserat. Habis menu ifthor bersama gitu-gitu aja (tak ada sayur, daging mulu yg ada), sedang makan sahurku serba dadakan bikin seadanya.
Langsung saja aku cari Vegeta di warung sebagai pengganti serat, kuminum dan kubawa diriku tidur. Alhamdulillah pagi harinya BAB lancar, rasanya diriku menjadi lega kembali.
Oh ya, kejadian ini mendorong aku untuk mencari tahu tentang apakah sembelit itu. Dari literatur yang kudapat, teryata sembelit itu adalah kesulitan atau kelambatan pasase tinja yang ditimbulkan oleh tinja keras, jarang keluar dan terasa nyeri jika keluar.
Sedang buang air besar adalah gerak peristaltik usus yang disertai relaksasi otot sfingter anus bagian dalam dan luar, dikendalikan secara sadar oleh otot sfingter anus bagian luar sehingga menimbulkan defekasi (keinginan untuk buang air besar).
Sembelit bisa disebabkan oleh banyak hal. Diantaranya adalah kekurangan serat, asupan susu formula yang berlebihan pada bayi, kelainan bawaan pada usus atau persyarafan, keracunan obat, kelainan metabolik, atau bisa juga gangguan psikologis.
Hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan atau jika perlu segera dikonsultasikan ke dokter, yaitu :

BAB terasa sakit dan mengeluarkan darah.

Tidak BAB selama 5 hari.

Nyeri perut lebih dari 1 jam.

Robek/luka/radang di sekitar anus.
Cara mencegah dan mengatasi sembelit :

Mengkonsumsi makanan berserat dari buah, sayuran, juga sari buah. Ketika sedang mengalami sembelit sebaiknya mennghindari produk susu, pisang, dan apel.

Menyelesaikan masalah psikologis yang diduga menyebabkan sembelit.

Biasakanlah BAB setiap hari.

Posisi ketika BAB adalah menekuk paha kearah perut sehingga menaikkan tekanan dalam rongga perut.

In Ramadhan yesterday, suddenly my stomach was sick and want to to water closet. But evidently excrement did not go out, was tortured very much. Afterwards I realised, uptil now when “sahur” and “ifthor” rarely consumed fibrous food. Because of the menu ifthor together almost always same (did not have vegetables and much meat), while really “sahur” I very was made suddenly and an existence. Therefore, I searched “Vegeta” in the shop as replacement food of fibre, I drank afterwards sleep. Praise the Lord, my morning went to water closet and smooth, felt relieved. Hehe…
Oh ya, this incident pushed me to find out about constipation. From literature that was gotten by me, the constipation was the difficulty or the lag of the excrement passage that was caused by hard excrement, rarely went out and was felt by pain if going out.
Defecating was the peristaltic movement of the intestines that were accompanied with the limp muscle sfingter the interior anus and outside, was controlled consciously by the muscle sfingter the exterior anus so as to cause defecation (the wish to defecate).
Constipation could be caused by many matters. Including being the lack of fibre, consumed formula milk that was abundant to the baby, the congenital disorder to the intestines or nerves, medicine poisoning, the metabolic deviation, or could also the psychological disturbance.
Matters that must be paid attention to or if necessary immediately consultation to the doctor, that is:
1. Defecating hurt and issued blood.
2. Not defecating for 5 days.
3. Pain the stomach more than 1 hour.
4. Torn/wound/inflammation in and around the anus.

The method prevented and overcame constipation:

1. Consumed food was fibrous. like vegetables, also juice. When experiencing constipation
better avoid the milk product, bananas, and apples.
2. Finished the psychological problem that it was suspected caused constipation.
3. Make accustomed defecating every day.
4 4. Position when the defecating was to fold the thigh to the side of the stomach so as to
increase the pressure in the abdomen.
